attempt to give context for those who want it:To dissect what exactly my practice is about is difficult. In making, I am not concerned with communicating concept or an explanation. The main function is to 'get out what is in', a physical and psychological therapy to digest experience, relationships, phantasies and ideas.
To paint, I work with my immediate tools. Impulse, reflex, attention and the lack of, guide the construction of an image, made tangible in line, colour and form. I work with no intended visual conclusion.
In sharing work, I hope another might be able to derive meaning, beyond the explicit.
